CJP’s Dipke Ridicules PM Modi’s Video Highlighting Tech-Based Anti-Leak Law

Date:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently shared a selfie-style video celebrating the passage of the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Amendment Bill, 2026, highlighting it as a significant move towards establishing a trustworthy examination system. In his message, Modi emphasized the need for stringent measures against what he termed the “paper mafia,” underscoring the government’s commitment to combatting exam paper leaks.

However, the Prime Minister’s announcement drew criticism from Abhijeet Dipke, founder of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP). Taking to social media, Dipke mocked Modi’s appearance in the video and questioned the effectiveness of simply enacting tougher laws to address the persistent issue of exam paper leaks. He suggested that the approach might not be sufficient to fully eradicate the problem.

The CJP has been vocal about its stance on the newly passed legislation, arguing that it places too much emphasis on punitive measures rather than prevention. The party advocates for more comprehensive structural reforms that would enhance transparency within the examination system. Dipke and his party have called for changes to the National Testing Agency (NTA) as part of a broader strategy to prevent leaks before they occur.

While Modi’s initiative aims to strengthen the integrity of public examinations, the debate highlights differing perspectives on the best approach to tackle the issue. The CJP’s critique underscores a call for a more proactive framework that addresses the root causes of paper leaks, rather than relying solely on punitive actions.
