‘Unshakable Souls’: Benjamin Netanyahu Pledges Support to ‘Brave People of India’

Date:

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu pledged Israel’s support to the “brave people of India,” declaring their “souls” are “unshakable” in the face of terror. His message came after a blast in Delhi killed at least eight people.
“To our dear friend Narendra Modi and to the brave people of India… we send our deepest condolences,” Netanyahu said. He and his wife, Sara, offered support “in sorrow and in strength.”
The Israeli leader’s message was one of powerful defiance. “Terror may strike our cities, but it will never shake our souls,” he stated. He praised the “unyielding spirit” of the two “ancient civilisations.”
The blast, which occurred near the Red Fort, is now the subject of a major terror investigation. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has taken over the probe from the Ministry of Home Affairs.
The NIA has formed a “dedicated and comprehensive” team to investigate the “terrorist attack,” which top sources have linked to a Jaish-e-Mohammad module.
